What is life? Scientists do not agree on a definition nor what is essential for life. Earlier I reported that a single molecule acts as a radio receiver and I speculated that life might be defined as sending and receiving electromagnetic and other energies. Now there is more confirmation of this assertion.  Researcher Daniel Fels in Basel Switzerland reports how microbes communicate in complete darkness separated by glass tubes!

The microbes Fels studied seem to use two different electromagnetic frequencies. It is a scientific fact that humans radiate electromagnetic energy from our brains, heart, and every cell of our bodies. Electromagnetic energy has been shown to affect our emotions and consciousness.

I wonder if we don’t know what dark matter and dark energy are nor whether an infinite number of parallel universes and hidden dimensions exist, how any of these factor in the equation of what constitutes life.

But if microbes communicate via electromagnetic energy and all life radiates and are influenced by such energy, we are all connected and the universal mind existed well before humans existed on Earth.

“The Energy Healing Experiments” a book by guest Gary E. Schwartz will be featured on the Leo Kim Radio Show on May 20, 2009 at 1-2 pm Pacific Time. Gary is Professor of psychology, medicine, neurology, psychiatry, and surgery at the University of Arizona at Tucson.

In addition to teaching courses on health psychology and mind/body/spirit medicine, Dr. Schwartz is the director of the advances in consciousness and health. Gary has a Ph.D. from Harvard University where his later became an assistant professor before moving to Yale University then coming to the University of Arizona. He has over 450 publications and numerous books including “The Energy Healing Experiments”, “The G.O.D. Experiments”, and “The Afterlife Experiments.”

Is the belief in God a universal intelligence, source, and energy of all that is–something we must accept as only faith? Or is there compelling scientific evidence. Professor Schwartz says: “My experiences in the laboratory and in life demonstrate convincingly, I believe, that science can lead us to the God who is now making himself/herself/itself known in physics, (sciences), and even of all places para psychological experiments.”
