Lost Star of Myth and Time

This weeks Leo Kim Radio Show will feature guest Walter Cruttenden who will talk about his book, Lost Star of Myth and Time. I found his book most provocative–it will challenge your views on ancient cultures, mythology, history, and our universe. Will it change your views on healing the rift between science and spirituality?   Join us to discuss Walter’s hypothesis of astronomical cycles of time known to cultures throughout the ancient world.

The show will be live with call in questions and comments or you can email and have your questions and comments read on the air.

Recently social and community roles in health have been featured in a New York Times bestseller and in scientific and medical journals. In Outliers: The story of success author Malcolm Gladwell tells how the social culture of a small town kept the residents healthy resulting in longevity well above the national average.

Now in the science and medical journals friendship, networks, and isolation were reported to be factors in health. It is somewhat unusual to have science and medical journals featuring social issues as a prime factor in health. Certainly, we all know the power of the mind for healing and wellness, but how far back do we go to find such teachings?

Dark Matter: How close is it?

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

earth-and-moonScientists speculate that dark matter is five times more abundant than the stuff we call ordinary matter. But where is it? Dark matter has not been found despite over a decade of searching. Many astronomers are studying far off galaxies for this dark stuff. However a physicist suggests that a halo of dark matter surrounds the Earth and moon and that we should look closer to home.
