Several of you have been puzzled by my website “blog” posts and newsletter announcements from divergent field of science as to how they relate to Healing the Rift.

I hope that this will help tie them together.

Facts:

1. My book, Healing the Rift: Bridging the Gap between Science & Spirituality, laid the foundation for the assertion that we live in a universe of mind, consciousness, and spirit.
2. On my radio show and on over 100 radio and television interviews I told of how the 21^st century would be the century of the mind.
3. In 2009, just a few months after Healing the Rift was released an announcement was published in one of the world’s leading scientific journals that a single molecule (called a nanoparticle) could act as an AM radio receiver (and by inference as an AM radio transmitter).
4. I posted a blog on my website referencing this publication and I speculated that perhaps first life and all life was about tuning in and broadcasting the universal mind described in Healing the Rift.
5. Within a few months another publication (again in a world-class scientific journal) revealed that bacteria separated from each other in glass tubes could communicate by electromagnetic energy or what some might call “bacterial ESP.” Prior to this publication the scientific dogma was that bacteria could only communicate by chemical signals or touch. Again I posted this on my blog.
6. Then just a few weeks ago, again in a world-renown scientific journal, scientists revealed that microorganisms could anticipate the future somewhat like a dog can be trained to salivate upon hearing a bell ring! Again I posted this reference on my website blog.

How can single-celled microbes think without a brain or even a single nerve cell? All this is evidence that all life is connected and that all life is connected to each other and the universal mind which I described in Healing the Rift.

Seem outlandish? The articles are referenced on my website and are NOT in New Age magazines but instead in the most prestigious scientific (and peer-reviewed) journals in the world!

Nerve cells make up the brain. Whether a lowly worm has a brain can be debated but they have a few hundred nerve cells, while a fly has 100,000 campared to a human’s 100,000,000,000. But are any of these necessary to make decisions? If not then mind (if mind is the one making decisions) doesn’t depend on brain or even nerve cells. The latest scientific findings show that single cell creatures such as bacteria and yeast are making such decisions!
